It's got pretty much everything you ever need. I particularly like the historical data in the keywords report which allow you to track your historical listings/rankings on a page by page basis.

It works well across different industries and has not lacked in terms of collecting more bizarre, unique terms.

I have been using this Tool for around two years for generating SEO reports for my client and company as well. There are different features which i like most, for instance- Backlink checker, Traffic analytic and domain vs domain. Semrush is the best tool I ever used to do Search Engine Optimization. When it comes to backlink then Semrush is my favorite due to its accuracy and specificness. In addition, Semrush has also helped us to improve our website's search engine ranking by providing insights. The tool also provides a management feature where we can add our project and work on them for a long time. Its been an awesome journey with Semrush. The tool enables us to work on different projects at the same time. 

SEMrush could help me a ton with SEO at the moment. I have had two businesses before. I currently work full time for a construction business doing marketing and application development. In our experience, the Lead Generation tool is pretty useful but perhaps most if you’re running a SEO business and want to collect sales leads. What it does not tell you is which pages were crawled. So, you better prepare an answer to this question just in case a prospect asks. Though in our experience it is a pretty useful tool which is packaged in an easy to use interface.

Which is why keywords that you will find there might not be closely related to the topic that you want to cover.
If you are doing competitive analysis for clients or prospects this tool is a must have tool. The API interface is a great way to enhance links to other evaluation tools, but that part is probably is not for technically faint of heart. The site audits are fairly easy to use and exploit, for top level insights and seem to have a much greater depth of capability than I have taken advantage of just yet. Site audits are helpful for evaluating key clients, and provides on-going regular emails as to how each site is doing.
