I purchased SEMRush last week and completed a Site Audit I couldn’t believe my site had so many problems. The only problem I have is that there are a lot of recommendations but no instructions on how to fix them. For example, the software advised me to use follow links on my posts instead of the No-follow links, several duplicate contents, meta description problems etc. Do you have nay ideas I can use to rectify the SEMRush problems?

In general, I love Semrush. It's a lot of information. Even if some of the information in the database is a little outdated, the huge amount of data and ideas you can get from Semrush is worth it. You even get extra things like social networking tools. It is ideal for SEO and PPC campaigns. I can see the data on my website with a single click of a button. It also allows me to keep track of my keywords, but I think they are not as accurate or that the data has not been updated recently. SEMrush is a great tool for any online business. It helped us to rank higher in the search engines. In general, I must say that I would recommend the tool to other people. The speed of the scans is a great advantage, you can set up a scan in progress and in a matter of minutes it is complete.
Quick tip: While doing keyword research with SEMrush, do not select the keywords with search volume more than 1000 per month, as they require a lot of efforts to get required traffic for your site. Choose the keywords between 500 to 1000 per month search volume (or even below) so you can get top 3 or at least first page rankings even if you’ve a new website.

I like the keyword position tracker and the site auditing with the competitor comparisons. It's really useful to see where my website is with a side-by-side comparison with our competition in regards to specific keywords we're targeting. The site auditing tool helps to identify issues with the website that can easily be fixed in order to get a better grade and be more relevant on search engines.
Check the duration of a campaign: If a competitor has been running an AdWords or any other advertising campaign for a while, there is a good chance it was a success. If the ad copy was only used for a short time, you could assume that either it was not bringing in enough traffic or it was because that was relevant to just a specific fashion, holiday or event.
The CPC Map is a handy tool which will give advertisers a good overview of the prices they can expect to pay for a particular niche in a particular region. However, the tool still needs more work, and the markets need to be expanded further especially into non-English speaking territories. That said the ones it currently operates in are pretty big and most people will be targeting English speaking regions anyways, so it is still worth exploring.
Sure…I do mostly affiliate stuff now but it applies to local too. Say I wanted to do an Amazon aff. site for laptops. I’d google some generic terms like “best laptop 2016” or “laptop reviews” grab the first three or four results of other aff. sites and run them through SEMRush to see what the competition is ranking for see the trends…etc and export the organic results. Lather, rinse and repeat until you have enough keywords.

Relation building – Find influencers in your market, who already published well performing content. For example: Best SEO Tools For.. , Top 10 products, etc. You know these authors are interested in your subject and are possible able (when they like your product or service) to get you in front of your audience and earn you a valuable link doing so. CPC Map is a nifty little tool developed by SEMrush to provide advertisers with an overview of what Cost Per Click advertising will cost them in different locations within the country. That said it still does not tell you which areas will be the most receptive and affordable to advertise in online. However, it still provides you with an easy way to evaluate the cost of advertising in a potential of a state or region. You can use the tool to compare search volume and PPC costs across a multitude of industries. It is great for market research or for a consultant who is about to quote a price to a client.

Just a handful of these links can mean a great deal for your website. The tool shows if there are any of these backlinks to your website.

Step 2: For Example, here I am using this tool for content ideation tool to lookup the content ideas for “dog training” and click the Get Content Ideas button. After a while SEMrush will fetch the relevant data and shows up the topic research results with popular subtopics, headlines and questions asked for the keyword. It allows for the creation of 50 lists, which is great for anyone working on several websites or even several pages on a single website with each one having a separate set of target keywords. You can easily create and organize your workflow across numerous projects and then assign keyword lists to every client. Once again it is an excellent feature for professional SEO experts.

Its simple all that’s required is to log-into your SEMrush account, click on the Lead Generation Tool on the left. The Widget Settings will open up, and you can fill out the form with all the required information that you want visitors to see. Then personalize the subject and response message in the email and hit ‘save.’ The opt-in form can be further personalized with updated colors which reflect your website’s design or branding.
